April Shippy

April Shippy is a financial analyst, a certified mental health coach, and a domestic abuse victim's advocate for women. She enjoys exploring deep concepts and walking with women on their healing journey. April has used her advocacy and skill set to assist women coming out of abuse by co-facilitating a betrayal trauma support group, providing financial coaching, and untangling legalistic belief systems used to oppress. Her desire is for women to understand their high value and for them to find their unique voice again. April and her husband live in Central Florida and have two children and a dog.

Jim Terrell

In 2017, Jim Terrell disclosed a 20+ year pornography addiction and infidelity to his wife, Misty. He entered sobriety/recovery and has been living out his recovery on a daily basis. Jim ran a support group for men coming out of sex addiction and is currently supporting men and couples in recovery. Jim is a hydrologist and an avid fly fisher. He loves the Great Outdoors and watching movies. His favorite thing to read are the Gospels in the Bible because he tries to model his life based on the teachings of Jesus.

Misty Terrell

Misty Terrell is an educator, a mental health coach and a certified domestic abuse advocate for women on their journey to wholeness. In her first published book, RISE: A Guide to Climbing Out of Betrayal Trauma, Misty tackles all the ins and outs of betrayal trauma recovery. Misty and her husband, Jim, are people helpers who lead support groups for men and women seeking recovery from betrayal trauma and sex addiction and work with couples who choose to reconcile after betrayal. Misty & Jim live on 14 acres in rural Kansas City, Missouri and have 2 teenagers, a cat named Honey, and a service dog named Sherlock.

Ann & Rob McFall

Rob is a computer analyst, military veteran and avid reader. Rob experienced severe abuse in his early years which eventually drove him to unhealthy coping mechanisms as a means to escape. In 2020, his isolated, dark world came to a screeching halt when Ann discovered his addiction to porn. Through therapy and recovery work, Rob has found the term "sex addiction" does not fit in a box, but has a broad and vast field of defining nuances. Rob currently leads a group of men coming out of sexual addictions.

Ann is a former teacher and is currently working in an office setting. She is working through her own personal traumas, starting with Misty's book, Rise: A Guide to Climbing Out of Betrayal Trauma. Ann is a behind-the-scenes supporter of both men's, women's, and couples recovery groups.

Ann and Rob are co-authors of a Christian sci-fi series, The Roda Odyssey. They have two adult sons, and beautiful daughter-in-law, and love to travel, scuba dive, and go to Disney World. They live on 15 acres in rural Missouri with horses, two dogs, a cat and a parrot.
